Biography
I am a FOSS Technologist and Educator with over 30 years of experience on the Linux ecosystem.
I started my career as a computer hardware and networking instructor at a training institute in 1995.
From 1997 to 2003, I worked as a software developer in various organizations.
Since 2003, I have been a freelance consultant and corporate trainer for various technologies on the Linux ecosystem.
I have trained over 50,000 engineers, students and professionals on Linux Kernel, Linux Administration,
Shell Scripting and Automation, Web development, Development and Administration of Databases that
include MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL and MongoDB, Programming in various programming languages
that include C, Python, Java, Ruby, Perl, Tcl/Tk, Lua, Groovy, Rust, PHP, Clojure, and many more.
As a corporate trainer, I have engaged with more than 75 clients and have delivered more than
50,000 hours of on-site training programs.
I am also the co-founder of Slashprog Technologies since 2010 that started as a FOSS Consultancy
and Competancy firm. Currently, I am working on pivoting our business model towards online
training courses primarily on FOSS ecosystem.
In 2026, I have positioned myself as a Systems Thinker and Author with focus on AI and future of
humanity. My writing draws from decades of hands-on systems engineering, teaching, and
interdisciplinary study — bridging technology, evolution, coordination systems, and the
future trajectory of intelligence. I write not to predict the future, but to understand the constraints
that shape what remains possible.
